Overview
We are a growing accounting and advisory firm seeking a motivated Part-Time Recruiter to manage and improve our hiring process. This role is ideal for a recruiting professional who understands the importance of organization, confidentiality, and culture alignment in a client-service environment. You’ll play a critical part in sourcing skilled accounting and finance professionals to support the firm’s ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting Process Oversight

  • Manage the full recruiting lifecycle from sourcing to offer acceptance.

  • Identify the best channels to find qualified candidates (Indeed, LinkedIn, niche accounting job boards, referrals, and professional groups).

  • Draft and post job descriptions that reflect our firm’s values and attract top-tier accounting and administrative talent.

  • Conduct initial applicant screenings to assess qualifications, communication, and cultural fit.

  • Administer relevant skills or technical assessments as part of the selection process.

  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers and partners.

Recruiting Process Improvement

  • Refine and document recruiting and interviewing procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.

  • Determine the most effective assessments for remote and staff-level accounting candidates.

  • Continuously optimize posting language, screening criteria, and workflow to reduce unqualified applicants and improve hiring speed.

  • Develop structured interview guides and screening questions specific to accounting and client-service roles.

Data Tracking and Source Analysis

  • Track effectiveness of various job boards and sourcing channels.

  • Analyze candidate pipelines and provide data-driven insights about cost per hire, source quality, and time to fill.

  • Recommend process improvements based on metrics and hiring results.

Qualifications

  • Ideally 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in professional services or accounting/finance sectors.

  • Familiarity with sourcing tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and applicant tracking systems.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple searches simultaneously.

  • Experience with remote team hiring and testing processes a plus.

Compensation

  • Competitive hourly rate based on experience.

  • Flexible, part-time schedule (8–20 hours per week).

  • Potential for expanded responsibilities as the firm continues to scale.
